We had another doctor's appointment yesterday. They did a follow up ultrasound since they weren't able to see a full 4-chamber heart last time or get good pictures of his brain. They didn't measure him to see how much he weighs but my pregnancy book and emails say that he should be about 3/4 of a pound. I'm guessing he's probably about a pound already since he's been measuring big. According to the book and email, he should be as long as a carrot. Last week he was a banana. He's moving a lot and definitely kicking! He'll surprise me sometimes with a big kick that'll make me jump a little but I'm just bracing myself for what's to come from those long legs and feet. Here are a couple of ultrasound pictures and another belly picture of me and Will. 
This is Will's profile. He's too big to fit his entire body on the screen at the same time. You can already tell that he's going to have big lips just like his Mama and Daddy. I think he's going to have his Daddy's little nose.

21 weeks and 15 lbs later
We had our 17 week ultrasound today and confirmed that we are, in fact, having a BOY! Everything looks great and he's definitely going to be long!! The ultrasound tech even commented on how long his arms and legs are! They did blood work today to check for Downs Syndrome and other diseases. I've never had my arm butchered before but today was the day!! As Mama says though, "I'll live." We started on the nursery this week and got the crib together. We're planning on buying the crib bedding this weekend. Once we have it put together, I'll post pictures of it. For now, enjoy our little BOY!!

Big Mama at 17 weeks!! This is the first picture I've taken of myself since 5 weeks!! I knew my belly was getting big but oh my word!! This little booger is growing!!! Are we sure I'm not 7 months? I think it might be the angle though because Jeremy and I both don't think I'm THIS big already...who knows! That's what happens when a 6'2" man takes a picture! ;o)
