Last weekend, my mom, also known as "Oma," came to visit us. I was sooooooooo excited that she came because I was needing some Carter family! Mama was a huge help and surprisingly enough, she survived. :o) Thank you, Mama, for coming and for wearing yourself out!! Will said he really loved spending time with you and can't wait to see you and everyone else for the 4th of July! We also experienced our first hospital ER visit yesterday. Talk about scaring his Mama to death!! He ended up having a little stomach virus but seems to be sleeping it off today. He's very clingy to Mommy, which I am not hating, and has pretty much been asleep all day and it's nearly 2pm. Thank Mr. Will for giving me the spare time to update my blog. :o) Here are some recent pictures of our Big Man... Dreamland Mommy's heaven! Mommy's friend, Melissa (Thames) Read sent me this cute sleeper. It has a horse and a barn on it and the feet are little horse faces. Cute cute cute! Thank you, Mrs. Melissa!! Handsome little mug! Superman!!! Oma and sleeping baby Will....ooo sweetness! Oma got a smile out of Will!!! All bundled up with his hands in his face....just like in utero. Will has started this thing where he likes to cry when his Mommy is holding him but he gets quiet when Daddy holds him. Will had been crying after a long day at the hospital and not feeling well. As soon as Daddy started walking with him on the treadmill....silence. Quiet baby Will with his good-lookin', weight-losin' Daddy. We're both very proud of Daddy for losing 50lbs so far! Go Daddy!!
It's hard to believe that Will is already 2 weeks old!! He's growing already and is starting to pick up his head. We went to the Pediatrician this week and he weighed in at 8lbs 8oz, which is a 9oz gain from last time, and measured 20.5inches long. His head grew a quarter of an inch too!! We've started him on some tummy time so he can practice lifting his head, which he has done really, really well at! His umbilical cord finally fell off when Aunt Tabitha was keeping him Saturday so we were able to give him a bath that same night. He LOVED the water!! He was crying earlier but as soon as he hit the water, he was quiet and loved it! It didn't hurt that he looked ADORABLE either!! :o) Daddy being silly in my face and making me smile!
