Introducing Mia

Yesterday, we added a new puppy to our family, a St. Bernard we named Mia!! We first met Mia when she was 3 weeks old and we just loved her. We were finally able to bring her home at 8 weeks and already, she's proven that she has a big personality!! She fits right in with our current crew of Molly and Mosa. She likes to play a lot and when she's not playing, she likes to sit on your foot or right next to you. It's funny to watch her run because her feet can't quite keep up with her yet so we've seen a few face plants...and yes, we laughed!! She's really cute and we're really proud and happy to have her here!! Introducing.....MIA!!!

TWINS!!!! I say that they look alike because they both have big heads!! HA HA!!!

Mama giving Mia some love!!!!

Our dog crew...Mosa, Molly, and Mia! It was so hard to get them to stay like this! Molly lays like this when she thinks she's in trouble. Her left paw ALWAYS comes up! Her's precious!!Although Mia has her own bed and own food bowl, she's become quite fond of Molly's bed. I'm sure Molly doesn't like that too much but I'm sure she enjoys the company!
LITTLE (for now) MIA!!!

Introducing baby William Carter's crib and crib bedding!! We don't have anything on the walls yet and haven't done much else with the nursery but we are finished with this part, which I think is the most important! ;o) It makes me even more anxious (and nervous) to have little Will here!! Only 4 1/2 more months!!!

The bumper is striped on the inside and has monkeys (like the comforter/quilt) on the outside. And the bedskirt is the same stripes as the inner bumper.

This is the beautiful crib that Kaa Kaa and Oma (aka Mama and Deddy) got for Will!! Thanks, Kaa Kaa and Oma!!!!

17 week Ultrasound! It's Definitely a BOY!!

We had our 17 week ultrasound today and confirmed that we are, in fact, having a BOY! Everything looks great and he's definitely going to be long!! The ultrasound tech even commented on how long his arms and legs are! They did blood work today to check for Downs Syndrome and other diseases. I've never had my arm butchered before but today was the day!! As Mama says though, "I'll live." We started on the nursery this week and got the crib together. We're planning on buying the crib bedding this weekend. Once we have it put together, I'll post pictures of it. For now, enjoy our little BOY!!

Profile shot!

Face shot and first glimpse at his stomach. (The little black dot in his abdomen is his stomach!)
IT'S A BOY!! (The two white sticks are his legs and in between are his boy parts!)

Big Mama at 17 weeks!! This is the first picture I've taken of myself since 5 weeks!! I knew my belly was getting big but oh my word!! This little booger is growing!!! Are we sure I'm not 7 months? I think it might be the angle though because Jeremy and I both don't think I'm THIS big already...who knows! That's what happens when a 6'2" man takes a picture! ;o)

Post-op Lo Lo Bean

Our kitty, Lo Lo Bean, had surgery early this week to have her front claws removed. She did well during the surgery and seems to be doing fine now too. I was surprised when I picked her up from the vet and she didn't have any bandages on! They gave me 2 days worth of pain medicine for her. She was acting normal and was jumping on things already. Sometimes she'll jump up on something and will have to take pressure off of one of her paws and will shake it a bit but other than that, she's fine. She's been sleeping a lot and being extra sweet, more so than she usually is. This is her new bed. She hasn't moved from this location in several days. Only time she moves is when I pick her up, when it's time to eat, and when it's time to go potty. Ahh, the life!

Sweet, but pitiful, Lo Lo Bean

IT'S A BOY!!!

100% Baby Boy

Giddy Up Little Dude!!

For the past couple of weeks, I have been scanning myself to see if I could tell the sex of the baby. Well, as the days went by, my "guess" became more and more clear. This past week, as I was getting closer to 15 weeks pregnant, I was able to come to a 100% conclusion that WE ARE HAVING A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!! We go in for our official ultrasound in a few weeks on Dec. 11th to get confirmation.

Since we found out we were pregnant, we have been anticipating this moment so we could finally start buying things for a boy or girl. Last night, Jeremy and I were at Target and I found a couple of onesies that we specifically for a little boy. See the pictures above. Jeremy and I are really excited to be welcoming William Carter Cochran soon!! I've already started calling him by name even while he's in my belly.

A Few Pictures From A Recent Photo Shoot

I recently did a photo shoot on some good friends of ours, James, Lindsey, and Alexander McGreger. I really loved this shoot because of the location...you'll see why! An old Mill house, water wheel, creek with small waterfalls, and a large grassy area, can't get much better! These are just a few selected photos from that shoot...

1 Year Anniversary Week...October 13th!!

Jeremy and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary on October 13th. We have officially been married for 1 year! It's hard to believe sometimes that time has gone by so quickly but then when I think of all that's happened in the past year, the timing seems just right. A lot has happened to us in 1 year! We got married, made a move back to Georgia, bought a house, made another move, got a new kitty, and now have a baby on the way! But if I didn't have so many changes in my life, I don't think I would know what to do with myself! These are a few pictures of our trip to the Atlanta Zoo and from the day of our anniversary...

THE ATLANTA ZOO

There were lots of flamingos and they were funny to watch!
This bird was my friend!! He followed me and kept staring at me!

I was so excited to see the elephants!!

Check out those big paws!!

We think he was hungry because he kept pacing!

These guys were so cute!! They were about 5 feet in front of us.

This gorilla was hilarious!! He was such a poser!!

These two were playing and having a good time! They were all so funny!

This lady's hat was ridiculous!! There was a little girl with her and her husband that called them "Oma" and "Opa." We thought that was funny! But not quite as funny as this hat!

I was really excited to see the giraffes too!!

My first time to ever see a Rhino! So cool!!

These meerkats were funny! They reminded me of Mama!!

My hand-made 1st anniversary card!

My anniversary display I found on my nightstand when I woke up!
