Catching Up On Will

I've been behind lately on getting my pictures up but here are some pictures taken over the last 3-4 weeks. Will is growing so fast!! At our last Pediatrician's appointment, he weighed 12.1lbs, measured 23 1/4 inches, and got his 2 month shots. :o( Sad day. We are pretty sure he's about 13lbs now. We are amazed at how fast he's growing!!

Will is quickly growing!! It's hard to believe how fast he's growing!!

A head full of hair! It's hard to tame sometimes but we do love his mullet and alphalpha!

Sweetness!!

Will gets a piggy back from Mosa!

"Oooo, I'm gonna get 'em!" He's been tearin' up his hands lately. He's gotta have something to chew on.

Getting ready to go swimming!

Happy mohawk baby!

"Get me outta here!! IT'S COLD!!!"

Just hangin out with the big belly and belly button.

First time in the bouncer/play station.

He fell asleep with the bottle in his mouth...and hanging out of his mouth.

I love my sweet baby boy's face!!

"What up? I'm just chillin in my Bumbo, what?!" Sitting up better! Last time we attempted this, he couldn't do it but he's getting better. Next time...sitting up by himself!

Learning to grasp things. "I get a little confused with my thumbs but Mommy and Daddy help me out." He's also holding onto the bottle and sometimes holds it all by himself...for about 2 seconds but still, he's getting better.

"I'm chewing on everything now cause I'm starting to teeth. I like to drool a lot too."

Mosa and baby Will playing on the floor. Mosa came and sat right in front of him. She was laying down with her nose on his feet but of course she moved after I got the camera.

Going for the fist...

"Mosa is my buddy. She likes to protect me."

Pushing up!!

"Mommy, why you take so many pictures?"

Playing with Daddy

Ooo Daddy got that sugars!!

"Ok, I've had enough!"

The Cochran Family and Will's 1st photo shoot (3 weeks)

Our friend, Nacole Bryant, was kind enough to take these precious pictures of our little Will. He's grown a lot since these pictures, as he's 9 weeks tomorrow and was about 3 weeks old in these pictures. But he's still as precious as ever! Jeremy and I are so blessed with our Will! He's brought so much joy into our lives and cannot begin to explain how much we love our little boy. He's definitely getting spoiled with a lot of love and a lot of attention. I mean, who wouldn't want to squeeze this little thing all day long!? :o) Enjoy...

A Recent Visit and In Between

Last weekend, my mom, also known as "Oma," came to visit us. I was sooooooooo excited that she came because I was needing some Carter family! Mama was a huge help and surprisingly enough, she survived. :o) Thank you, Mama, for coming and for wearing yourself out!! Will said he really loved spending time with you and can't wait to see you and everyone else for the 4th of July!

We also experienced our first hospital ER visit yesterday. Talk about scaring his Mama to death!! He ended up having a little stomach virus but seems to be sleeping it off today. He's very clingy to Mommy, which I am not hating, and has pretty much been asleep all day and it's nearly 2pm. Thank Mr. Will for giving me the spare time to update my blog. :o) Here are some recent pictures of our Big Man...

Dreamland
Mommy's heaven!
Mommy's friend, Melissa (Thames) Read sent me this cute sleeper. It has a horse and a barn on it and the feet are little horse faces. Cute cute cute! Thank you, Mrs. Melissa!!

Handsome little mug!
Superman!!!
Oma and sleeping baby Will....ooo sweetness!

Oma got a smile out of Will!!!

All bundled up with his hands in his face....just like in utero.

Will has started this thing where he likes to cry when his Mommy is holding him but he gets quiet when Daddy holds him. Will had been crying after a long day at the hospital and not feeling well. As soon as Daddy started walking with him on the treadmill....silence.
Quiet baby Will with his good-lookin', weight-losin' Daddy. We're both very proud of Daddy for losing 50lbs so far! Go Daddy!!

2 Weeks Old and Will's 1st Bath

It's hard to believe that Will is already 2 weeks old!! He's growing already and is starting to pick up his head. We went to the Pediatrician this week and he weighed in at 8lbs 8oz, which is a 9oz gain from last time, and measured 20.5inches long. His head grew a quarter of an inch too!! We've started him on some tummy time so he can practice lifting his head, which he has done really, really well at! His umbilical cord finally fell off when Aunt Tabitha was keeping him Saturday so we were able to give him a bath that same night. He LOVED the water!! He was crying earlier but as soon as he hit the water, he was quiet and loved it! It didn't hurt that he looked ADORABLE either!! :o)

Daddy being silly in my face and making me smile!

Bath time!! My very first bath!! Mommy sat in the bathtub and got wet with me but she didn't look as cute as me!!

Cuuuuuuuuuteness!!!

Look! My umbilical cord is gone!! Yay!!! My Mommy was so excited!!

Then it was hooded monkey towel time!! Time to dry off, get some lotion on, and my hair brushed! I was squeeky clean!

He was saying "Ahhhh" a lot!

After all that, I was so sleepy that I fell asleep with my arms standing straight up. But this was just a tease to Mommy and Daddy because later, I kept Daddy up until 3am!
